HELP! MIP in Isla Vista, California! Court date tomorrow and I really don't want my license suspended? :(?

I got an MIP in Isla Vista about a mouth ago and my court date is tomorrow. I wasn't drunk, but I don't think that matters. Anyways, I don't have a very good juvenile record ( I already have a zero-tolerance ticket where I got my license suspended for a year when I was 16) and now I'm only still 18 until August. I have proof that I am in the International Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa, and I have my college transcripts that show my 3.7 GPA and my acceptance of the President's Full-Time Honor Roll Award. Should I bring these to court? Will the judge even look at them? I have three jobs and I am well over a full-time student, do you think if I explain that I really, really need a car to get around that s/he will not suspend my license? Please help!!!!
