Is America dying as a nation?

If our country is dying, it's not for the reason you quoted Alexander Tyler as expressing above, but rather moral decline. If a people are corrupt, than yes democracy will be the vehicle that corrupt people will use to further corrupt themselves by putting leaders which reflect that corruption in office, but it can't be said that ultimately democracy is the cause of the corruption, just merely a vehicle by which it arrived. Yes we are a democratic republic, and yes we are becoming more of a democracy, and I don't see that as a good thing. God bless.
