My PS2 is broken...?

I was hoovering in the living room and caught the wire with the wire of the PS2 making it flick down near the ground, which has jammed the disk. The rest of it is fine, as it didnt hit the floor, but i cant get the disk out. Is there a way of taking it apart so unjam the disk drive and remove the disk and sort of sort it out? Its my bf's and he is annoyed that it doesnt work, and i miss playing The Hobbit on it too....
